윈도우 라이브 드라이브 - 온라인 데이터 저장 서비스

윈도우 라이브의 온라인 데이터 저장 서비스인 윈도우 라이브 드라이브(Windows Live Drive)에 대한 정보가 좀 나왔습니다. 호주에서 열린 Tech Ed 컨퍼런스에서 John Hodgson이 이야기한 내용이 News.com에 소개되었습니다. 무료 저장 공간이 2G 정도 되고, 더 많은 용량은 유료로 제공된다고 합니다. 그리고 윈도우 비스타와 곧바로 연결되어 사용할 수 있다고 합니다. 그러나 언제쯤 나올지에 대한 내용은 없네요. 정확히는 모르지만 워싱턴주 Quincy라는 곳에 짓고 있는 대규모 데이터 센터가 이와 관련있을 것 같군요. Live 사용자에게 2G씩 제공하려면 엄청난 서버 시설이 필요할텐데요. 특히나 비스타와 연동되어 사용될 수 있다면 전세계적으로 어마어마한 사람들이 사용하게 되겠죠.
